Managing Directors, Joshua Taylor and Shaun Newbigging have 19 years experience working in the Trenchless Technology industry.

Josh was raised in the family business of underground infrastructure construction, specialising in Horizontal Directional Drilling.

At the start of their careers in 2004, Josh and Shaun trained in the field and studied to gain Certifications in Trenchless Technology and it’s applications in the civil and utility infrastructure industries. 

From 2004 – 2016 they worked with a team of HDD drillers and Vac Truck operators, to complete hundred of projects, ranging from small service bores, to under bores that passed beneath rivers, lakes, and highways. They completed noteworthy, large electrical and communications networks that spanned across multiple kilometres – the largest being a 23km Optic Fibre Route from Pinjarra Hills, Brisbane to the Ipswich CBD.

In 2016 Josh became a Specialist Trenchless Consultant for large scale projects.  Shaun started his own Horizontal Directional Drilling business – Pipeline Tunnelling Services.

2018 saw the partnership of Josh and Shaun to form SEQ Trenchless Pty Ltd. Since then, the company has grown to offer five HDD Rigs run by experienced crews, vacuum excavation trucks to support HDD operations and an in-house mechanical workshop to service our expanding fleet.

As a strong team, with a rich history of working together, we pride ourselves in working closely with our clients to showcase the benefits of utilising trenchless technology to achieve less invasive underground infrastructure installations.
